Manchester international festival: Waiting for That Day We Sang

Excitement has been building around Victoria Wood's That Day We Sang at the Manchester international festival today

The curtain is about to rise on national treasure Victoria Wood's That Day We Sang, a ray of sunshine in what has been a somewhat rainy day in Manchester. It's not only the audience that's looking forward to the performance - some young members of the choir have popped up in the comments section of the Mif website expressing how they can't wait to take to the stage. Here's a video of Wood herself talking about the show.
