Win or lose, bankers can still rely on a bonus

Even when banks keep making losses they distribute handouts so generous their staff will never have to work again. It's brilliant!

The good news is that I'm beginning to understand why bankers get their huge bonuses. They get them when the bank they are working for makes a profit. Their salaries, therefore, are what they get when the bank they are working for makes a loss. You can probably guess what they get if their bank keeps making a loss, year after year. That's right, one last really, really big bonus, so that they need never work again. See? it all makes sense after all.
